Printing Tips

Be sure to know what program you used & whether it was PC or Mac. For best results, provide us with a pdf of your job, and include links.

Be aware that all monitors and printers are different so what colors you see on your screen may appear differently when printed. Proofing is always the best way to be sure of accurate color. Providing us with a hard copy (printed copy) can help as well.

If you full photos off the web, they may be low resolution and may appear blurry or pixelated. Choose the highest resolution, or largest size, art you can find.

Press and Digital printing differ in how a file needs to be prepared, so know which method will be used before sending files. Color issues arise when a file has been prepared in an RGB environment (computer screens and web) and needs to be printed in a CMYK (printing press) environment. If this all sounds like a foreign language, feel free to call us and we can walk you through it!
